The new thermostat C820RQ joins the C800 range, completing it with a product that is simple, essential but at the same time equipped with all the functions required for smart comfort management.

One of its distinguishing features is the possibility of being powered by batteries or mains (230V). The installer can thus satisfy every need with just one product. The dual power supply allows it to be wall-mounted or mounted on a flush-mounted box, allowing a choice of 500, 502 and 503 types thanks to the square and rectangular fixing base kit included in the package. In the case of battery power, they last for more than 1 year, thanks to the low-power components used for the display.

C820RQ is a digital touch screen thermostat with the same modern and elegant design as the C800WIFI, with 3 LED digits and 3 buttons. Thanks to its clean-lined appearance, it fits easily into any environment and allows comfort to be managed more effectively anywhere in the home.

Energy saving with ON/OFF control or TPI function

The C820RQ is designed for the control of heating and cooling systems with temperature setpoint control in ON/OFF mode or with TPI function, which allows greater energy and cost savings through advanced management. It is also suitable for meeting the requirements of new plant engineering standards, such as hybrid systems, heat pumps, pellet boilers.

When the thermostat is set with ON/OFF control, this function allows the required setpoint temperature to be reached by acting on the on/off times of the heating/cooling system according to the type of system installed and the set differential, minimising the energy consumption of the system itself.

If the thermostat is mains-powered 230V, you can take advantage of the TPI (Time Proportional & Integral control) function, an advanced control technology used for room temperature regulation. In this control mode, the TPI adjusts the heating or cooling output proportionally to the time required to reach the desired temperature.

As the room temperature reaches the setpoint temperature, the switch-on time of the thermostat in each period decreases. In this way, the TPI control reduces boiler starts and maintains a more constant comfort level around the required setpoint. This means more comfort and cost savings for the end user!

Its flexibility of use also makes it ideal for new generation installations and the limiting scale ranges for hospitality applications.
